When the molecule of caffeine hits your nervous system, your blood flow and heart rate speed up, and you can make faster connections in your brain and be more productive. The Caffeina coffee table concept has been developed with this in mind; its modularity allows you to use a different arrangement and total surface area, depending on its use for each specific task. Additionally, the act of connecting the two modules becomes an anchor-movement: it programs your brain (releasing other chemicals such as dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins) to get ready for the task you’re about to accomplish. All materials and finishes have been carefully selected to enhance the experience of ‘connection’. The silky and warm finish of the wood is juxtaposed with textured powder-coated metal, once they’re connected they create something powerful. In the same way that caffeine molecules connect to your nervous system.
